Shawn and Amanda – Married!!

This was my first wedding of 2012, and it was a nice start to the season.  Even though it was a rainy day, we worked with what we had and I think the pictures turned out beautiful.  I love the shots I got of them when they weren’t paying attention, just kissing in the midst of all of the commotion.  Lots of kissing going on all day, really!  ;)  Thanks for letting me be part of it guys, and congrats!!

Milli :)

Milli came to the studio at just a couple wks old.  I shot her parents’ wedding last summer, and I was so excited to meet her!  Sometimes it’s hard to tell in pictures, but she is well under ten pounds.. Just a teeny little sweetie.  Flowers are blooming all over my mom’s yard right now, so I picked a few to use on her, and I just love how beautifully she wore them.  Congrats Danny and Amy on such a sweet baby girl.  :)

PROM 2012

Prom… Was it really almost ten years ago that this was the best night of MY school year?!  My daughter loves watching all the pretty girls walk in, especially our babysitters, so I took some shots while we did.  I also had a couple couples come to the studio before heading to the dance, and I had a session with a contest winner at Drake Well.  Here are some of the shots from the day!

Jeremy and Jacqueline – Engaged!

It actually snowed the day before we were scheduled to have this engagement shoot at the Peninsula in Erie, and I thought there was no way we were going to be able to keep it scheduled, but in true PA fashion, the weather did a quick 180 and we were able to do the shoot! These two were so fun to photograph. They easily fell into all of the lovey dovey poses I set them up in, and as if on cue, they busted out laughing at the right time, everytime, too. ;) I’m SO looking forward to photographing their wedding in June. The peninsula is great, but I’m thinking the Cancun beaches might be just a little more enjoyable! :)

Wesley – Newborn

This teeny little man came to me at just a couple wks old.  I have a girl in town that makes me the cutest hats for shoots.  I asked her for an aviator hat the day before the shoot, and of course she whipped it out, and it was so much cooler than I expected!  Wesley let us pose him up on his arms in it, and it’s one of my favorite newborn pictures to date!  You can check out and order hats from Nicole here! :)

The Meagher Clan

I’ve only had a few people come for pictures with multiple generations of family members, but I think it’s such a great idea!  It’s not easy to get everyone together, (we were still missing a couple of sick husbands), and it’s not easy to get a group photo, but I think it’s so nice to have pictures of everyone hanging out as one big family.  Pat is the head of the family, so we made sure to highlight him in the ‘ring around Grandpa’ photo.  :)  The Meaghers were my second family growing up.  They’re such an awesome group of people, and it’s so cool watching their family grow and grow.. and grow.  ;)

Tom and Stacy +1

It’s so fun to be able to photograph people in the different stages of their lives.  I took Tom and Stacy’s engagement and wedding pics, and now we’ve moved on to family pictures!   :)  Their daughter, Hadley, was freshly out of the hospital when I joined them at their house for her first photo session.  She has such an adorable chubbiness even though she barely weighed seven pounds!  She slept almost the whole time for us, and was so fun to dress up in different headbands and hats.  Their dog was feeling a little jealous that he wasn’t part of the shoot, so we incorporated him in at the end.  So happy for this fam.. What a sweet new addition!
